Nakiah is an independent British screenwriter and filmmaker.

​

Born and raised in Nottingham, England. Nakiah has always been fond of the magic of film from an early age, initially wanting to become an actor. But the acting dream didn't go quite to plan, and it was in 2012 that Nakiah moved to London at 19-years-old to pursue a career in film, behind the camera.

 

It was there he went on to study a degree in Film Production at the University of West London, eventually graduating in 2015. Since then, Nakiah has remained in London to continue his venture within the world of film and has been working both within the industry with production companies such as Goldcrest Films and video production company Smuggler. He has also remained active independently, recently completing his most recent short film Scopolamine which he bears numerous credits as the writer, producer, director and editor. He is now looking to build on his catalogue of work, direct more content and collaborate with other talented, creative individuals and brands,
